How a Jambo is built
Rolled plate.
Never pipe.
Most offset smokers start life as a length of manufactured pipe. Every Jambo cooking chamber is rolled from flat steel plate, then wrapped around a heavily insulated firebox that holds heat in a Texas norther and sips wood while it does it.
- Rolled 7-gauge chamberFormed from flat plate, never pipe.
- Insulated firebox7 ga outer skin, ¼″ inner wall, insulation between.
- The Boiler Door⅜″ steel. Standard on J3 and J5.
- Stack damper controlTemperature set by damper and firebox door, not guesswork.
